Ford GT 2017
At the 2015 North American Auto Show in Detroit, Ford pulled the curtain off of the all-new 2017 Ford GT. With a super-light carbon fiber and aluminum construction, a 600-plus horsepower, EcoBoost V-6 and a race-ready cockpit, the latest Ford GT is hands down the best supercar in the history of the Blue Oval brand. This new two-door builds on legendary design history with modern materials to hopefully recreate the original car’s success.
Maserati Alfieri is a 2+2 grand tourer from the Italian car manufacturer Maserati. It was first shown as a concept car at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and is scheduled for a 2016 release.
The Alfieri uses design elements of the Maserati A6 GCS/54 designed by Pininfarina in 1954. It is based on the chassis of the lighter Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale with a shorter wheelbase of 24 cm, with locking transaxle and Ferrari-derived V8 engine of 4.7 liter 460 hp and 520 Nm at 4750 rpm.
The Alfieri was confirmed for production in 2016 at a Fiat Chrysler event on May 6, 2014. The production version will receive three V6 engine choices, producing 410 bhp (306 kW; 416 PS), 450 bhp (336 kW; 456 PS), and 520 bhp (388 kW; 527 PS), with a 560 bhp (418 kW; 568 PS) V8 appearing in 2018. The 450-horsepower and 520-horsepower versions will only have an all-wheel drive system. The Alfieri will be joined by a convertible variant in 2017.
Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4
This is the Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4, and it’s a ridiculously overpowered Lamborghini hybrid, complete with electric motors and the claimed equivalent of 282 miles per gallon. And it’s not just the name that’s big. This is Lamborghini’s big future.
Befitting the “LPI” portion of the name (the “I” is for Ibrido, which is Italian for “hybrid”), it’s got a longitudinally-positioned 5.2-liter V10 pumping out 610 horsepower, coupled to 300 horsepower worth of electric propulsion for the full 910 equine experience, through all four tires. And since 300 horsepower alone is clearly enough to power this thing around, it’ll do up to 125 kilometers an hour, or about 77 miles per hour, on the electric juice alone for up to 32 miles.
Ferrari 488 GTB

The Ferrari 488 GTB’s new 3902 cc V8 turbo is at the top of its class for power output, torque and response times, making it the new benchmark for this kind of architecture. The engine unleashes 670 cv at 8,000 rpm along with 760 Nm of maximum torque in seventh gear and a response time to the accelerator of just 0.8 seconds at 2,000 rpm. These figures are sufficient to allow the Ferrari 488 GTB to accelerate from 0-200 km/h in an astonishing 8.3 seconds and, when combined with the radical innovations introduced on all aspects of the car’s performance, lap the Fiorano track in just 1’23”.
Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo
This video was taken at the recent Frankfurt Auto Show where the Vision GT concept was shown for the first time. And even though the concept is only a life-size model of a virtual car for Gran Turismo 6, it has a version of Bugatti’s famous quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W-16 under its pretty carbon fiber skin—a version that sounds absolutely menacing even when only starting up and sitting at idle.
Bugatti didn’t reveal any specs for the Vision GT, though the automaker did say that the car—in the virtual world—should be able to hit 250 mph at no less than four sections of the famous Circuit de la Sarthe, home of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The automaker also said that the Vision GT features the new design language that Bugatti has developed for the Veyron successor thought to debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next March. In fact, we can already see some lines that are common to both the Vision GT and prototypes for the Veyron successor.
